Everything With Wings

During the next few weeks  the Gourgaud Gallery, 23-A North Main Street in Cranbury, NJ will feature an exhibit by Helen M. Rudnick:

“Everything With Wings II”
Hours: Monday – Friday 9 AM – 4 PM
Sundays 10/1 and 10/15   1-3 PM

“Everything With Wings II” is a continuation of an artistic theme that Helen began in 2015. It mixes real with fantasy, natural with spiritual, eastern with western.  Sometimes the vision calls for watercolor, sometime acrylic, and occasionally photographic mixed with ink.  It’s all there, no rules, just feelings and ideas.

Helen was born and raised in the prosperous city of Hangzhou China.  At age 15 Helen entered a special High School in Hangzhou for the artistically inclined. After High School, she was accepted into the prestigious China National Academy of Fine Arts where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts.

Helen then moved to the United States to find herself as an artist and to find her “American dream”.  She enrolled in a Masters Degree Program in Art Education at Kean University, receiving here degree in 2007.

From 2001 to 2014 Helen ran her own art studio (Helen Studio), where she taught basic art skills. In 2015 she decided to close the studio and focus on her own art. Helen had solo exhibitions and participated also in group exhibitions.

Cash or a check made out to the Cranbury Arts Council is accepted as payment for the artwork. As part of a non-profit Cranbury Arts Council, the Gourgaud Gallery donates 20% of art sales to the Cranbury Arts Council and its programs that support Arts in our community, see www.cranburyartscouncil.org.
