Meet the Photographers at the 

Photos from Cranbury digital Camera Club (CdCC) photographers are on display at the Gourgaud Gallery. The gallery is located at Cranbury Town Hall, 23-A North Main Street (the old schoolhouse) 
in Cranbury, NJ from March 8th to March 29th.  The photos selected by the photographers for the show depict various themes and subject matter.  The photographers are from Cranbury, Hightstown, Monroe, West Windsor and various other communities in Central Jersey.  Their work has been on display at various Galleries throughout New Jersey.  Many of the photographers on display have had their work cited for awards by the NJFCC, PSA and other photography organizations.

The Cranbury digital Camera Club (CdCC) is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for almost 9 years.  The organization concentrates on digital photographic techniques and methods. The organization’s goal is to provide an environment where amateurs and professionals can learn from each other to further develop their skills as photographers.  Most of the members are from the Central Jersey area.  Meetings are held twice each month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays.  The CdCC organization has over 100 members.

The organization provides members with the opportunity to display their photos at various Galleries and Photo Shows.  Usually at least one or possibly two shows a year are held for the photographers.  Member competitions are held once a month during which the photographers get to present their work to be judged in a positive environment that fosters improvement.   Once a month invited guest speakers present various topics about their specialty to enhance the member’s photographic knowledge and methods.

There will be a Meet the Photographers Reception at the Gallery on Sunday March 8th from 1-3 pm. Refreshments will be served.

The artwork is for sale with 20% of each sale going to support the Cranbury Arts Council and its programs. Cash or a check made out to the Cranbury Arts Council is accepted as payment.

We are looking forward to another great exhibit by the “A-Team”:

At the Gourgaud Gallery, Town Hall in Cranbury, NJ.

The A Team artists return to the Gourgaud Gallery with many new exciting paintings that they have created. Please come and support this wonderfully talented and important group of artists of the TASK community who share their work every February at the Gourgaud Gallery. 

The purpose of the group is fourfold:

1. to promote the work of TASK artists in all media;
2. to work together as a group to support and encourage each other's success;
3. to learn entrepreneurial skills by taking responsibility for developing and maintaining the A-Team as a business entity;
4. to generate good will and public support for the artists, the TASK community and the city of Trenton.

"Handmade Books & Journals" Instructor - Tamara Woronczuk

Dear artists,
The first class in the Cranbury Arts Council's Winter Workshop Series for 2015 will be held from 9 am - 12:30 pm on Saturday January 31 in the Gourgaud Gallery.  Upcoming Workshops are TBA and will be posted on our website at Cranburyartscouncil.org.

CAC members - $35
Non- members - $45

Additional $5.00 materials fee - you must pre- register to receive the supply pack for the class- there will be no extra materials for walk-ins.

Please bring a 12" ruler and a pair of scissors

Course Description:
Making books by hand is an adventure in looking at books a new way. A book is a vessel that contains words, pictures, ideas, photos and on and on. We will create at least 3 books during this class- a bound journal, an accordion book and a pocket book. If time allows, a 4th book will be introduced.

This will be the sixth annual "January Open Call for Artists" exhibit hosted by the Gourgaud Gallery. Linda Gilbert, Chairperson for this yearly event and member of the Gourgaud Gallery Committee is pleased to announce that she is expecting the usual great attendance for this annual event. Last year there were over 22 artists with 45 pieces of original art on display. All art will feature the theme of "Dramatic Skies". Various mediums from oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, photography and collage will fill the walls at the Gourgaud Gallery through the month of January.
 
The reception will be on Sunday, January 4 from 1-3 PM in the Gourgaud Gallery, located in Town Hall. Many of the artists will be available to share and discuss their work with the visitors.
 
The artwork is for sale with 20% of each sale going to support the Cranbury Arts Council and its programs. Cash or a check made out to the Cranbury Arts Council is accepted as payment. Cranbury Art in the Park December 7-28

Please come to the Artist Reception on Sunday 12/7 at the Gourgaud Gallery, Cranbury Town Hall (Old School Building), 23-A North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ, to celebrate the art created from the Art in the Park plein air series sponsored by the Cranbury Arts Council. Each month from May to October, a different Cranbury property hosts local artists to capture the scenes offered at their beautiful gardens and historic homes in Cranbury and the artists painted also in parks in and beyond the town.

The art will be on display through the month of December making it a great time to purchase art for holiday gifts.

Cash or a check made out to the Cranbury Arts Council is accepted as payment. All art that is sold gives a 20% donation to the Cranbury Arts Council in order to continue in its mission to promote and support the arts through its programs, classes, exhibits, summer art & technology camp and winter theatre camp. The November exhibit celebrates artwork of members of the Gourgaud Gallery Committee. Amy Amico, Linda Gilbert, Louise Palagyi, Russ Johnson, Susan Troost, Tamara Woronczuk and Lisa Walsh are the volunteer members who are dedicated to organizing and promoting the monthly exhibits, events and classes held at the Gourgaud Gallery located in Town Hall, 23-A Main Street, Cranbury NJ.

The committee will bring each of their unique styles in various mediums to the exhibit. The reception will be held on Sunday, November 2 from 1-3 pm and the exhibit will run through November 30.

The Gourgaud Gallery is part of the Cranbury Arts Council and donates 20% of all art sales to the events and programs offered by the CAC, a non-profit organization dedicated to promote, support and foster the arts in our community.
